TWT Welcomes 5th Dürener Handicup to the Tour

The Takei World Tennis Tour is pleased to announce the inclusion of the 5th Dürener Handicup on the 2026 calendar, reinforcing the Tour’s continued expansion across the world.
Held annually in Düren, Germany, the Dürener Handicup has established itself as a unique and popular event within the BLV tennis calendar. The 2026 edition will mark the fifth edition of the tournament and its first appearance as part of the Tour as a Challenger 50 tournament.
Tournament organiser, Christian Schäfer, expressed his excitement:

The Dürener Handicup has built a strong reputation over its previous editions, consistently attracting a competitive field and delivering a high-quality player experience. Its inclusion in the TWT calendar reflects the tour’s fundamental commitment to supporting well-organised events that promote the sustainable, fair development of the sport.
