We are thrilled to officially unveil the first tournaments on our brand-new tour, marking an exciting milestone as we begin this journey in 2026.
The Loughborough Visually Impaired Tennis Tournament organised by the Lawn Tennis Association will take place in Loughborough on 25th–26th April 2026 as a Tier 250 event. The tournament will be hosted at the outstanding Loughborough University Tennis Centre, one of the UK’s leading indoor tennis venues. Known for its top-quality hard indoor courts and excellent accessibility, the centre provides the perfect stage to launch our tour. These courts were designed specifically in consultation with visually impaired athletes in mind, to ensure maximum court contrast and a high-tech lighting system which combines natural and artificial light Players can expect a professional setup and a fantastic atmosphere to match the significance of this historic opening event.
Later in the season, the tour heads to Vilnius for the Lithuanian Open, running from 23rd–29th August 2026, also as a Tier 500 event. While this will be the tournament’s debut on our tour, it arrives with strong credentials following a highly successful edition last year. Organisers, Tennis Lithuania, earned widespread praise for delivering a well-run event with a great competitive field and warm hospitality, and they are set to build on that success to make this an unforgettable stop on the new circuit.
Both events will be played on indoor hard courts and represent the beginning of an exciting new era. As the first confirmed tournaments on the calendar, they set the tone for what promises to be a dynamic and high-quality inaugural season.
More announcements are on the way—this is just the beginning.
